the cheek<3 allthough I didn't like this movie so much at the first time (probably because i saw it with finnish dub), now i find this movie and this scene veery.. lovely

The scene in which Elinor changes back and kisses Merida all over the face is my absolute favorite moment in the film. And it's that way because it is very cute and affectionate of Elinor to do, especially since the moment shows the love and friendship they've recaptured in the years since they've started to become estranged. I could even see that when Elinor changes back, she has tears in her eyes like Merida does since she'd been crying out of fear that Elinor wouldn't change back, but we know now that they are both crying out of happiness. What Merida and Elinor have is very real and relatable, and it's why I love this movie so much.
